THE SCREENPLAYS

These are a few of my favorite feature screenplays. I own the exclusive rights to all of them as the sole writer and concept creator. The posters are for fun and to help visualize the project, not to be confused with movies that have actually been produced and/or are ready to promote.

SNUFF

THRILLER

“SE7EN” meets “8MM”. To date, there is no such thing as a real snuff film, which is to say no one has actually committed a murder on video with the intent of selling it. But a struggling special effects artist finds a way to convince the public his “fake” snuff films are real. Unfortunately, several of his volunteer victims have turned up dead, murdered in the same manner in which he filmed them.

SNUFF had been previously optioned by the BDE Group. It is currently available.

PETER

BIO-DRAMA

A fly on the wall observing the life of Peter Tchaikovsky would swear they were watching an implausible Shakespearean tragedy. From his tormented childhood to his controversial death… home sickness, rejection, back-stabbing, addiction, homosexuality, denial, orgies, conspiracy, coercion, murder, suicide… not to mention he was the greatest Russian composer of the 19th century.

BENT

THRILLER / HORROR

The Washington Huskies gymnastics team has what every women’s gymnastics team has: talent, discipline, and jealousy amongst the teammates. But when their bus crashes on the way to Nationals, the survivors have to put aside their differences and come up with a survival plan. Help arrives in the form of a family of reclusive Mennonites living in the woods. But when one of the girls discovers the family’s dark secret, what first appeared to be the Waltons has become the Mansons. The girls’ gymnastics skill is their only defense against this clan of psychotic hunters.

LOST SOULS

MOCUMENTARY / THRILLER

Justin underestimated the power of Satanism – it seemed to work as an easy way to get laid. No one could have imagined it would lead to him going on a murderous rampage, the likes of which were caught on surveillance video and deemed “inadmissible” as evidence in Justin’s trial. Only one man can save Justin from State execution: the man who introduced him to Satanism. Presented in a documentary style, this gripping tale of deception and religion depicts what happened at the University of Oklahoma during the 2002 school year, and what some fear is certain to repeat itself.

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?

COMEDY

Pornstars are dropping out of the business all the time. Some get too old. Some start families. Some find God. The ones who find God get baptized and are re-born. But just because the church granted her a clean slate doesn’t mean she should keep her past a secret from her new Christian husband. What happens when this guy suddenly spots his wife having sex on the internet? This is that guy’s story.

I met the Omar Mortaza, co-founder of Standing Bear Productions Inc., back in Spring of 2014, and he and I have been collaborating on screenplays ever since. We've accrued quite a collection of feature scripts, many of which are inspired by true events. SBP owns the rights to all of these projects, and the options are still in effect.

Inspired by the true story of a Mayan Villager who endured the tragic Rio Negro Massacre committed by the corrupt Guatemalan government, and lived to fight back.

GUNWALKERS

Inspired by the true story of the most controversial gun smuggling scandal in American history and the government agent who brought it down.

MOUNT SHASTA

BIO-DRAMA / ACTION

Inspired by the true story of a young recruit whose first undercover operation at a high society high school becomes the largest drug bust in Northern California’s history.

Additional Options

Some of my first project collaborations after moving to the LA area resulted in the 3 screenplays detailed below, all of which were optioned at some point (Hell Week was optioned 3 separate times). I generally played the role of writer in the purest sense, as the concept was typically the brainchild of the producer I was working with at the time.
